Yolanda Dutrey holds an LL.B. from the University of Zaragoza, an LL.D. from the Complutense University of Madrid and an LL.M. in Community Law from the Complutense University; at present, Yolanda Dutrey is consultant at Winkels Abogados.
Her teaching career began in 1994 at the San Pablo CEU University College and is currently a Lecturer in Private International Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid.
Ms. Dutrey has published numerous doctrinal papers on International Family Law and International Procedure Law, international contracts, international investment and dispute resolution in essays, books and legal journals.
She also teaches in master’s programmes specialised in International Civil Procedure Law, International Family Law (marriage, divorce, children and alimony), International Business Law, recognition and enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards at prestigious public and private institutions.
She has participated in numerous conferences, seminars and workshops in Spain and Latin America (Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Dominican Republic…). Her proficiency in English and French has also enabled her to participate in international conferences and lectures, and earned her international academic recognition, such as the “Trilingual Legal Expert Degree” from the Rey Juan Carlos University in collaboration with the University of Paris XII where she teaches the module “Droit Commercial” or “The Madrid Summer Law Institute” where she coordinates, together with the University of New Mexico, the courses entitled “European Union Law” and “International Business Law”, where she also teaches the subjects “Jurisdiction Problems in Family and Private matters” and “Recognizing and Enforcing Law Judgments in Europe”.
